Most VS Code theme extensions ship one or two color schemes. I wanted a single extension that covered a real range of moods and contrast levels across the languages I actually write in.

Learnings
- Theme design is a syntax-highlighting problem as much as a color-palette problem — contrast and token distinction matter more than the palette looking good in isolation.
- Shipping to a marketplace means treating the extension like a product: versioning, changelogs, and install-time expectations, not just a personal dotfile.
